It’s impossible for me to let you in on everything that went on this last year, and chances are, you really don’t want to know it all, anyway. Am I wrong? I didn’t think so. But, I do know that everyone likes a good Christmas Card and Delicious Holiday Goodies, so here you go:
Look, when my kids were little, it was easy to create a Christmas Cards for sending out. It usually started with that one picture that I just knew was going to be it. It was a picture that would show off how cute my kids were, while still making me laugh. And that was enough.
This year’s Christmas greeting could be filled with the endless stories of new careers and new interests. I could tell endless Grandma stories, too. Stories of remodeling and putting the house on the market could be told and so much more.
Instead, I thought I would share something that you might find helpful. I wanted to share my favorite holiday recipes. (It was that, or myths about Christmas, but that went a bit dark, so… ) The recipes are not all cookie or goodie related; however, these are treats that are typically made in my home during the holiday season.
If you think about it, it is the perfect combination. The weather is usually colder, and having a hot oven on to bake holiday goods is a great solution for giving your family some “treats” while keeping warm in the kitchen; at least that is how I have always seen it.
